Our perception of the world around us is shaped by the rapid processing of ingested information. We tend to perceive assumptions as facts and make quick judgements through biases and prejudice. As a result, we run the risk of transferring these habits and practices to media work as well, which can lead to us unquestioningly spreading our kind of perceptions.

The LEMON online course was developed to sensitise media producers to this problematic situation and to enable them to be more attentive to prejudices, biases and stereotypes and their reproduction in their media work and also in the reception of media messages.
